tesa tape Completes Sparta Facility Renovation, Enhances Sustainable Production

tesa tape celebrated the completion of a two-year renovation and expansion of its Sparta plant, its first manufacturing site outside of Europe. The revamped facility, spanning over 179,000 sq ft, marks tesa’s commitment to its sustainability goals, transitioning to solvent-free production and utilizing bio-based and recycled materials. The site features a larger Product and Technology Development Lab and a Customer Solution Center, aiming to strengthen tesa’s collaborations in North America. This expansion added 28,000 sq ft of manufacturing space with “zero waste” production equipment, projected to cut natural gas use by 40%. The facility is also set for another construction phase, which will focus on building a warehouse.
