St-Luc enhances production with Comexi lamination equipment

The new Comexi L20000 has been installed in the companyheadquarters in Belgium in order to complement its film products printed on the HP 20000 digitalpress. St- Luc is a family growing business with 25 years of experience in the field of packaging. With more than 200 employees and a turnover of more than 40 milions, the company prints andconverts flexible packaging from its production sites located in Belgium, The Netherlands andFrance. Specifically, Comexi L20000 is fruit of a strategic agreement between HP Indigo and Comexi torespond the requests from flexible packaging field.  This equipment has been designed to enablereducing products’ life cycle, allow mass customization and personalization, offer fast deliverytimes, easy switch between lamination and coating and makes it possible to deliver a completepackaging in less than 24 hours. Besides, the water-based machine minimises waste at the starupof a job, an essential benefit when facing the growing trend of very short runs, which alsomeans saving in costs and reducing environmental impact.
