Eaglewood Tech Builds Unique Laser System

Eaglewood Technologies has sold the largest laser anilox cleaning system ever built to one of the world’s premiere consumer products companies. This system, a custom Sitexco SLH 4.2, is currently being built and will deliver by the end of the year. The system was developed in conjunction with the consumer products company following two 2018 innovation awards for this technology. It is designed to clean three mid-size rolls simultaneously or one 158” roll. It has extra large automatic roll top doors and a heavy-duty chassis to easily handle bulky rolls. A traceability program will track anilox inventory and it is CE, CSA, UL and FDA approved.
“The Sitexco system was chosen because of its effective cleaning capabilities, its ease of use, and versatility to support the changing cleaning needs of the customer. The decision followed visits to our demonstration facility and numerous cleaning trials”, says Peter Mulheran, Eaglewood Tech’s Vice President.
