3 DIFFERENT DENSITIES

The Polymount sleeve is available in three different densities, soft, medium, and hard. Each density has its own qualities. 

• Soft: The softer version is a white coloured sleeve and is often used by packaging manufacturers to produce high quality vignettes on film. The soft version offers less bounce, often resulting in higher press speeds. The soft version is gaining in popularity.
• Medium: The Medium density sleeve is orange in colour and is our most popular and versatile sleeve. The medium sleeve offers high quality printing for fine screens, lines and solids simultaneously. The paper and board industry as well as aluminium foil UV ink printers are predominantly running this type of sleeve. A large number of packaging film printers are also using the medium density Polymount sleeve exclusively.                                                                                                  
• Hard: To complete the range on offer we have the harder sleeve, which is black. This sleeve will bring you the extra ink coverage you may be looking for.

Polymount sleeves are built to last! They offer you a guarantee of ten years for the adhesion and the compressibility of their sleeves!  The Polyurethane foam underneath the sticky layer is manufactured using open cell technology, which will not wear out nor show ghosting in the print, no matter how long the run. The sticky layer is made of an extremely stable polymer that simply does not change its structure. This polymer is specifically designed to be adhesive and will hold a plate more than 10 years.
