Systec Conveyors and Automatan will now offer joint solutions under the umbrella of ‘Inspire Automation.’

With the goal of offering board converters turnkey material handling and graphics solutions, Automatän LLC and Systec Corp. have combined their businesses under the parent company, Inspire Automation. The two companies were brought together by private equity group, HRCP. The investment group introduced the idea of a partnership in 2016. 

The companies will maintain their individual brands under the umbrella of Inspire Automation and will continue to be led by Randy Lorenz, President and CEO of Automatän and Inspire Automation, and Matt Cahill, President of Systec Conveyors. Based in Plover, Wis., Automatän designs and manufactures graphics and robotic material handling equipment for the corrugated and folding carton industries. Systec Conveyors is based in Indianapolis, Ind., and engineers and manufactures material handling equipment for the corrugated industry.
