Simon Sonn Named New President of the Global Rotogravure Association
October 23, 2025The Global Rotogravure Association (GRA) has elected Simon Sonn of 4 Packaging Africa as its new President, succeeding Davide Garavaglia, during its 90th Management Meeting held at the International Gravure Days in Istanbul.
Dr. Marius Wittke of Windmöller & Hölscher was appointed Vice President and Treasurer, succeeding Max Rid, who served nearly nine years in the role.
Newly elected Board members include Kaku Kohli (Kohli Printing & Converting Machines Pvt. Ltd.)—the first representative from India—and Mandy Wang (Weinan Zhengqi Printing and Packing Machinery Co., Ltd.), the first from China.
Re-elected members Martin Pitonak (Chemosvit), David Möller (4 Packaging), Heiko Engelhardt (Burda Druck), and Olaf Segbert (Daetwyler Swisstec) will continue their service on the Board.
The GRA thanked outgoing leaders Garavaglia and Rid for their long-standing commitment to advancing the global rotogravure industry.
