Schattdecor Expands with Second Cellaxy Laser for Gravure Cylinder Engraving

Schattdecor Group has expanded its production capacity with the addition of a second Cellaxy laser system from Hell Gravure Systems, enhancing its ability to engrave large-format gravure cylinders.

The German-based company now operates two Helioklischographs for electromechanical engraving and two Cellaxy lasers for direct laser engraving.

Schattdecor produces printed and unprinted decor paper, impregnated papers, and finish foils used in wood-based materials, furniture, flooring, and interior design. The company employs 3,000 people across 16 global locations.
