Pöppelmann Expands with New Hall 43 for Plastic Protective Elements
December 22, 2024Pöppelmann Group is expanding its Kapsto division with Hall 43, a new production facility for plastic caps and plugs, including solutions for electromobility. This project marks the company’s largest investment to date.
Spanning 16,500 m², Hall 43 will feature automated transport systems, ergonomic workspaces, and renewable energy sources like photovoltaic panels. Construction follows German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) guidelines, targeting certification.
Production will start in January 2025, with improved logistics and packaging solutions available by mid-2025. Pöppelmann continues its commitment to sustainability through the “Pöppelmann blue” initiative, focusing on recyclable materials and circular economy practices.
Guided tours for partners and visitors will begin in the second half of 2025.
