Mondi Partners with Bandera and Polytype Converting for Sustainable Packaging
November 26, 2024Bandera has completed its latest Extrusion Coating project, designed to meet the evolving requirements of the packaging industry.
The equipment, developed at Bandera’s House of Extrusion®, is tailored for advanced applications. Its key features include an extrusion island and a robust chill roll system, enabling precise coating with low grammage (gsm) on paper and other substrates. These capabilities contribute to improved efficiency and support sustainable production practices.
Polytype Converting, a division of Matthews International Corporation, supplied the line’s unwinding, rewinding, and web handling systems. The equipment will be installed at a European facility of Mondi Group, a global leader in sustainable packaging and paper.
