Miraclon announces FLEXCEL NX Central Software 3.0 to supercharge FLEXCEL plates

Miraclon has announced the release of FLEXCEL NX Central 3.0, the newest version of its centralized software hub for FLEXCEL plate production. The upgrade introduces advanced automation and calibration tools designed to simplify operations and improve plate consistency across flexographic printing workflows.

A key highlight is the new Automated Calibration Tool, which replaces manual setup with a smart, self-service system that continuously validates and adjusts settings. This ensures stable, high-precision platemaking conditions and minimizes variability, resulting in consistent, top-performing plates.

The software also provides integrated access to value-added tools for the FLEXCEL NX System, including advanced triple-form surface patterning, PureFlexo™ Printing—which reduces unwanted ink spread and press downtime by up to 50%—and Automated Plate Layout, which cuts manual layout time by 90% while improving plate utilization by 10%.

FLEXCEL NX Central 3.0 will be included with all new FLEXCEL NX System installations, with upgrades available now for existing customers.
