Robert Habeck hands over climate protection contract worth 51 million euros to Schumacher Packaging

Yesterday, the Federal Minister for Economic Affairs presented the first climate protection contracts to 15 selected companies in Germany during an event in Berlin. One of these companies is our plant in Schwarzenberg.

CEO Hendrik Schumacher: “Thanks to the 51 million euro grant, we will convert the heat generation at the site to climate-neutral biomass while simultaneously producing green electricity for our production facilities.”
