Chespa Boosts Automation with ThermoFlexX Catena+ Plate Processing
June 4, 2025Polish pre-press specialist Chespa has upgraded its flexo platemaking line with the fully automated ThermoFlexX Catena+ system from Xsys. The new setup enhances productivity, reduces human error, and improves plate quality.
Headquartered in Chorula, Chespa operates 18 companies across seven countries, serving major brands with photopolymer plates, inks, and cutting dies. The new Catena+ line includes a TFxX80 laser, Catena-E LED exposure, and Catena-WDLS washer/dryer/light-finisher, delivering a fully hands-off workflow from start to finish.
CEO Marek Siekiera said the system has streamlined operations and boosted raw material efficiency, while also improving image reproduction and plate consistency. The move further strengthens Chespa’s long-standing innovation partnership with Xsys.
