AVT (Advanced Vision Technology) has announced its return to independent operations following its acquisition by Porat Itay Holdings.

Founded in 1992, AVT is reclaiming its identity as a standalone company after being acquired by Danaher in 2017 and integrated into Esko. Roy Porat, co-owner of Porat Itay Holdings and AVT’s new CEO, says the move allows the company to refocus on its core strengths: print inspection, process control, and quality assurance.

“This is an exciting new chapter,” said Porat. “We’re committed to advancing our leadership in print inspection and color measurement technologies.”

AVT will maintain strategic partnerships with Esko and X-Rite, ensuring continued integration with leading workflow and color management solutions. As an independent company, AVT aims to bring new innovations that support operational excellence for printers worldwide.
