Jindal Films Europe (JFE) has announced a major investment at its Brindisi, Italy site with the installation of a new 10-meter Orienter line, built by Brückner, set to become operational in the second half of 2026.

The advanced hybrid Orienter will be capable of processing both polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE), significantly boosting Brindisi’s annual output and reinforcing its position as one of Europe’s largest film production facilities. The line will enable production of a wide range of specialty films, including BOPE Ethy-Lyte, in-mould label (IML), tobacco, label, and flexible packaging films.

JFE CEO Gilbert Davids described the investment as “a cornerstone of our strategy to strengthen our European footprint and expand our capabilities with the latest technology.” He added that the project underscores JFE’s commitment to sustainability and customer responsiveness.

The Brindisi plant already features advanced metallizing and coating technologies, producing ultra-high-barrier Alox films and other specialty grades. The new Orienter line will further enhance JFE’s ability to serve global markets across Europe, the Americas, and Asia.
