Print Pro Invests in New Uteco Onyx RACE Flexographic Press

Print Pro has installed a new Uteco Onyx RACE central impression (CI) flexographic press, strengthening its production capabilities and commitment to innovation in packaging.

The press is designed for high-volume output, reaching top speeds of up to 600 meters per minute (1,970 feet per minute) with a maximum print width of 1,400 mm (55 inches). According to the company, the Onyx RACE combines speed, efficiency, and reliable quality, making it well suited to meet growing demand.

With the Active Start function, full job setups can be completed in under three minutes, generating less than eight meters (26 feet) of material waste. Additional features such as Active Dry and Active Ink further reduce material consumption and operating costs, supporting more sustainable production.

The press also incorporates Bounce Void technology to minimize vibration, ensuring stable and repeatable print quality even at high speeds. For operators, the Dynamic Pack system improves safety, ergonomics, and ease of control.

Capable of processing paper, film, and foil, the Onyx RACE leverages automation to boost productivity and reduce downtime. Print Pro noted that employees will benefit from smarter workflows and more efficient operation, while customers can expect consistent print quality, faster turnaround times, and environmentally conscious production.
