ePac Flexible Packaging has installed its first HP Indigo 200K digital press in Europe at its new site in Sheffield, UK, expanding its digital print capabilities across the EMEA region. This marks the seventh 200K press in ePac’s global fleet, complementing six already in use across the U.S.

The move is part of a broader strategic agreement with HP to transition ePac’s entire fleet to Indigo 200K technology, known for faster speeds, higher productivity, and gravure-quality output. The installation supports ePac’s continued growth and its push into Europe’s fragmented packaging market, offering faster turnaround, short-run flexibility, and sustainable solutions aligned with the EU’s new Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation.

Clients like UK-based wellness brand Westlab are already seeing benefits, citing improved agility and consistent print quality. ePac now operates five sites across Europe, including locations in France, Poland, Austria, and the UK.

ePac Europe MD Johnny Hobeika called the investment a reaffirmation of the company’s digital-first vision, while HP Indigo’s Noam Zilbershtain hailed the milestone as a leap forward for the region’s flexible packaging sector.
