FUTURA: the new generation of Bimec Slitter Rewinders previewed at PRINT4ALL

At PRINT4ALL, Bimec S.r.l. introduced its new FUTURA line of slitter rewinders, developed from 50 years of experience in the converting industry. The line includes several models—TF, STM, TCA, and BBOX—as well as customized machines for specific applications.

The FUTURA range focuses on three main aspects:

• Ergonomics: Modular design and consistent layouts make the machines easier for operators to learn and use.
• Interactivity: Features include a clear material path display, guided setup and maintenance tutorials, emergency recovery steps, real-time monitoring, and a simplified reel unloading system. The system is also compatible with cybersecurity protocols and future AI modules.
• Robustness: Reinforced structures allow for higher loads and longer service life.

A key feature is Bimec’s proprietary B-KNIFE system, a mechanical slitting unit designed for flexibility and accuracy. It supports both shear and razor cutting, with a minimum slitting width of 20 mm and easy configuration changes.

FUTURA reflects Bimec’s ongoing focus on machine usability, durability, and adaptability to different materials and production needs.
