K. Walter and ICR S.p.A. Announce First Italian Installation of Q-Trac and ChromeNeo
June 4, 2025K. Walter has achieved a key milestone in its partnership with ICR S.p.A. Incisioni Cilindri Rotocalco, with the first installation in Italy of its advanced Q-Trac Quality Inspection System and the innovative ChromeNeo hard chrome plating process based on Chromium III.
The project was completed in collaboration with K. Walter’s Italian agent, E.T.S. International S.r.l., marking a major step forward in quality control and sustainable plating technology for the gravure cylinder industry.
Q-Trac enables precise inspection and monitoring during the plating process, while ChromeNeo offers an environmentally friendlier alternative to traditional Chromium VI, aligning with upcoming regulatory changes and industry sustainability goals.
