AeroFlexx Secures Patents for Recyclable Flexible Packaging Innovation
June 4, 2025AeroFlexx has been granted U.S. Patents 11,548,709 and 12,071,292 for its innovative AeroFlexx Pak — a recyclable, monomaterial solution that blends the benefits of rigid and flexible packaging.
Designed for kerbside recycling, the AeroFlexx Pak can reduce virgin plastic use by up to 85% and incorporates up to 50% recycled content. It maintains the structural performance of traditional bottles while using up to 70% less plastic.
“This recognition strengthens our IP portfolio and underscores our commitment to sustainable packaging innovation,” said Cedric D’Souza, AeroFlexx CTO.
CEO Andrew Meyer added that the solution supports brands in meeting ESG goals while delivering a lightweight, durable, and consumer-friendly packaging alternative.
Earlier this year, AeroFlexx partnered with Chemipack to expand sustainable liquid packaging solutions across Europe.
