AR Packaging Halmstad and Comexi Strengthen Their Relationship After the Sale of an S1 DS

Comexi and AR Packaging Halmstad, a leading European company in the cardboard and flexible packaging sector, have extended their business relationship with the acquisition by the Swedish company of a Comexi S1 DS slitter; this machine will be installed in the company’s Halmstad’s plant (Sweden). The relationship between the two companies dates back approximately 30 years when AR Packaging Halmstad purchased the first Comexi machine. Presently, there are three types of Comexi machinery, flexo press machines with a central drum, slitters, and laminators. All converting machines in the Halmstad plant are of Comexi type.

The plant in Halmstad is specialized in the production of flexible food packaging with a unique barrier protection. “The Comexi slitter will allow AR Packaging Halmstad to increase its productivity with the highest standard of quality”, explains Ramon Jonama.
