White Rose Packaging, Leeds, invest in their 4th BCS-Autobox

White Rose Packaging, a division of The Simpson Packaging Group which also incorporates “Dependable Packaging” and “Self-Pack” was established in 1995 and has grown year on year at an impressive rate.

White Rose Packaging specialise in “short-medium run (1-10,000) box manufacturing with an emphasis on quick turn – around, Just in time delivery”.

Production Manager, David McNally has been key to the growth of the business and acknowledges the large part that BCS-Autobox machines have played in their success. “We purchased our first BCS-Autobox machine some 20+ years ago and have now added our 4th machine with in-line 2 colour print. This is testimony to the robust construction, reliability and excellent after sales service that BCS-Autobox continue to provide”.

He continues, “The machines work day in, day out, they never let us down and cost very little to maintain”.

Oliver Dawes, Director of White Rose Packaging comment on how the companies key selling points consist of “Quality of service, speed of turn-around all at a competitive price”. He continues; “In some circumstances, we get a job in at 5pm and have it out the door in the morning”.

“White Rose Packaging boast an impressive fleet of nationwide vehicles to target any industry that requires bespoke boxes”, comments Oliver Dawes, Director.

BCS’s UK Sales Manager, Arran Sethi comments, “White Rose Packaging first started with our 2-pass box maker to cater for short runs of bespoke boxes. From there, they developed in to a very successful sheet plant that maintains excellent margins.

Investment in the newer BCS-Autobox, modular line means that White Rose have improved production efficiencies by an average of 50%. In some circumstances, producing corner cut designs, we have saved up to 8 passes of operation in to 1”.

He continues; “Not only does this new investment give White Rose the ability to produce modern day, technical designs such as 0401’s, but also the ability to produce print sized up to 2000 x 1000 or 2 colour, high value boxes”.
