Uteco Group: where Innovation goes hand in hand with Sustainability

During this successful edition held in Duesseldorf from 16-23 October, the 3330 Exihibitors presented their Innovations and technology solutions specially focused in recycling, sustainable raw materials, resource-saving processes. Approximately 225.000 visitors from 165 countries visited K 2019 and Uteco Group has certainly been part of this great success! The Uteco Group, Booth B30 in Hall 4, was attended by hundred of people every day from all over the world: Visitors, after Germany and Italy, came from Netherland, India and China followed by USA. Furthermore, a marked increased in the number of trade visitors from the Russian Federation, Japan and Brazil were registered.

Uteco Group showcased their Rainbow 4.0 LIVE twice a day with great success, not only in counting demos attendants but in number of quotations requested. The solventless green laminator totally focused the main purpose of this K edition in terms of resource-saving processes, functionality and sustainability. The Uteco Innovations presented at 360° in all printing and converting technologies were not only admired! In fact, despite the current tensions in world trade and the business climate in certain sectors of investment and consumption, the closed negotiations during K Show have far exceeded the most confident expectations, reaching totally 18 million euro of contracts signed, 13 machines! In addition to the 3 coating & laminating machines, 7 flexo machines have been sold, together with 1 rotogravure machine and 2 hybrid digital machines. The target markets are the most diversified: from the Middle to the Far East (in China for example), from Italy to Latin America, to emphasize even more our strong wordwide presence. During the Show, live streaming cameras connected the booth with Uteco Premises. Many visistors had the great possibility to attended the two daily demos directly from the Uteco Plants and ConverDrome®, the R&D demo center: Next 450 rotogravure machine, Sapphire Evo the hybrid digital machine and the best seller flexo machine Onyx 810 have shown everyone their potential and unique features.

Uteco gave further proof, if it were still necessary, to be the ideal partner for all those Converters who need highly technological solutions: innovations & solutions that range from coating& laminating to flexo and roto printing and the new demand for digital printing in further new progress and developments “work in progress” for the next important event in Germany: Drupa 2020 ( Hall 10 – B20)
