Upgrade to HD gravure now!
June 9, 2020All current HELL engraving machines are already fitted with HD Gravure as standard. However, in many cases all it takes is a simple software update to bring older HelioKlischograph systems up to the new level of quality, too!
HD Gravure creates the conditions for even better printing results – even greater edge focus when converting line and text originals, precise detail reproduction, high level of color fidelity. All current HELL engraving machines already come with HD Gravure fitted as standard!
In the two previous editions of Helioscope, we reported on how the three companies 4Packaging from Germany, A&R Carton from Austria, and Chemosvit from Slovakia were able to boost the quality of their engraving using HD Gravure. (You can catch up with these reports here: 4Packaging, A&R Carton, Chemosvit.) This made it clear that even engraving machines built as far back as 2013 can be fitted with the key modules of HD Gravure MultiTune, High Quality Hinting, and HellHybrid with the help of simple software updates. The HelioSprint engraving systems of these plants can just as easily be prepared for MultiTune engraving during regular scheduled maintenance. The rule for engravers built previous to 2013 is that they must undergo a technical clarification.
In HQH Pro and XtremeEngraving, however, two further HD Gravure modules are available that can generally be used regardless of the age of the engraving machine.
In many cases, launching HD Gravure is therefore incredibly easy!
