March 1, 2019This month, FBA utilized our social
media platforms to share content from industry leaders about the importance of
corrugated and recycling. We shared a variety of content from Paper Recycles,
AF&PA, and the Paper + Packaging Board. With ICPF’s student teleconference
being held this month, we also thought it timely to create and share a
“Considering a career change” graphic which highlighted the many achievements
of and opportunities within the corrugated industry.
On our Twitter page, FBA shared articles related to e-commerce, sustainability
and the future of corrugated. For Valentine’s Day, FBA spread the message to be
thoughtful and remember to recycle your packages.
We continue to provide updates about the 2019 ICCA/WCO Global Summit,
highlighting quotes from past attendees who are excited for this year’s Global
Summit to be held May 20-23, 2019 in Palm Beach, Florida.
Next month, we will be focusing on e-commerce. Some key things to look out for
are:
- An e-commerce SWOT analysis for the corrugated industry
- E-commerce trends
- Release of FBA’s Annual Report with information on end-use of boxes
