The Intelligent Cover EDM For Combiflex Pneumatic Brake

Re S.p.A. Combiflex pneumatic brake from decades is the landmark for the converting and, moreover, the corrugated board production industry in the world.

The brakes, indeed, is able to reach unmatched performance than other brakes can’t ensure when talking about heat dissipation, torque, stability considering dimensions and, moreover, environment respect.
But, the corrugated board industry, is continuously evolving and Re S.p.A. has the obligation to keep up to date to meet these needs.

Today customers require us to reach ever higher speed without a loss in terms of heat dissipation, dimensions and maintenance; and following this direction our R&D department is moving to guarantee the usual high quality standards that the market expects from our brand.

Working on these requirements, the evolution of the Combiflex brake was born: the new intelligent EDM cover has been studied to be able to adjust automatically and immediately the speed of the fan according to the work requirement. Thanks to an internal system of sensors, the brake is able to detect the temperature and adjust the numbers of fan revolutions to increase the brake efficiency starting from heat dissipation and the important increase in terms of life span and life cycle of each component.
Moreover, it ensure a great saving of power and decrease of noise level as the fan will no longer need to always run at maximum.
Last but not least, three leds allows the operator to check the status of the fan activity.

The new generation of Combiflex brake allows us once again to keep up with the evolution of corrugated cardboard production plants, aware however that we cannot stop.
