The 100th Flatmount sold worldwide to Pacificolor

AV Flexologic is proud to announce the sale of the 100th Flatmount to Pacificolor, a prepress packaging and print partner. Based in Salt Lake City, Utah, Pacificolor is a growing and innovative trade shop. They have chosen AV Flexologic’s high-end mounting technology in partnership with Vortex technology to enhance their production of high-quality corrugated graphics.

The second Flatmount for Pacificolor

Previously, Pacificolor has already purchased a Flatmount. The AV Flexologic Corrugated Flat Mounting Machine possess different features that allows to mount on mylars with the maximum efficiency:

• With this flat mounter, operators can achieve mounting speeds that are 30% faster than those achieved with a round mounter
• The included cutting edge VPP technology provides virtual proof of the mounted plates by scanning each plate after mounting. The camera provides digital imagery of the mounted plate, which can then be exported as a PDF and sent to customers
• At 3500 mm wide the Flatmount can handle carrier sheets up to 137″ wide for repeats up to 69.9″
• The automatic rolling allows the operator to prepare for the next step while the Flatmount rolls out the plates with no air inclusions
