Statement from Akihiro Kato, Managing Director, Asahi Photoproducts Europe
January 1, 20192018 has been another exciting year in the flexographic industry, and for Asahi Photoproducts and our customers. We are looking forward to continuing momentum in 2019, and we have new innovations in the works that we will be sharing at Labelexpo Europe 2019 and drupa 2020.
Our success would not be possible without the loyal support of our customers and distributors around the world, and we thank them for a very successful 2018. Looking ahead to 2019, we have more innovation coming, and we are excited to be in a position to help continue the forward progress in flexography. Here are a few things to look for from Asahi Photoproducts in 2019:
- Our Clean Transfer technology has been proven and well-adopted in the market since its introduction at drupa 2016. Look for even more Clean Transfer developments at Labelexpo Europe 2019 and drupa 2020!
- We will soon be introducing a new AWP water-washable flexographic plate – stay tuned!
- We will also be introducing a brand-new plate family, AFP™ BFT H and M.
- In addition, we have introduced new talent and skills to our team to drive even more innovation.
We are also gratified that the industry has recognized our flexographic excellence with a number of awards, and we congratulate our customers who have achieved many of those awards using our flexographic plates. Together with our customers and distributors, we are building the future of flexographic printing!
