Shepherd Neame, the award-winning brewer based in Faversham, Kent, has just placed an order with Makro Labelling UK for a new labeller, bottle conveyor and bottle drier, which is part of a major upgrade at the Brewery. Shepherd Neame, the family owned independent brewer, place a lot of importance on the appearance of their award-winning beers. This year again they won medals at the BBI Drinks competition held in July, scooping two Gold Medals for Spitfire Gold and Cinque, a Diploma for Whitstable Bay Blonde and a Gold for Orchard View Cider. These beers and cider will grace the Shepherd Neame pubs and retail outlets in the coming months.

At their brewery in Faversham, Shepherd Neame bottle their products on one production line. With volumes increasing in recent times the company went out to tender to look for an upgrade to the bottle conveyor and in October the contract was awarded to Makro Labelling UK, who will be installing a new 42,000 b.p.h. labeller with a bottle drier in February 2018.
