ROBATECH AT CCE INTERNATIONAL 2023

At this year’s CCE International trade fair, Robatech will show a large selection of products from its adhesive application solutions. Among them are three new application heads for different areas of application. In addition, Robatech will show a product innovation that will be of interest to the folding carton industry. Robatech has developed a product innovation that makes the folding of corrugated cardboard boxes more efficient. This novelty meets the high quality standards known from Robatech. They do not want to reveal more until the trade show. Coating head for e-commerce A year ago, also at the CCE, Robatech launched the new Vivo 18 coating head, which can be used to glue pressure-sensitive adhesive closures and tear strips quickly and precisely directly onto shipping packaging. The narrowest coating head on the market replaces the previous FK IT models for application widths between 2 and 18 mm. Together with the quantity control in the melter, Vivo 18 achieves a precise application weight. For optimum adhesion, therefore, no safety margins are required in the adhesive application, so that less adhesive is needed overall. Booming electrical application heads With Presto, Robatech has also added an electric cold glue coating head to its product range since last year. This application head cleanly glues paper carrier bags, viewing windows and similar items. And with Volta, Robatech offers a robust electric application head for hot melt that consumes 60 % less energy than pneumatic jetting heads. Thanks to high switching frequencies, Volta is suitable for stitching and thus also saves adhesive. In the midst of all these innovations, Robatech’s «dream team» for the packaging industry – Vision melter, Performa heated hose, SpeedStar Compact jetting head – almost gets lost. But you could also say that it has become the new standard.
