RKW Group Expands Manufacturing in Franklin, Kentucky
February 20, 2019German film manufacturer RKW will invest $18.8 Million to expand its manufacturing and production plant in Franklin, Kentucky.
“Not only will this investment allow RKW North America to tap into new markets,” says Kenneth Budlong, General Manager of RKW North America, “it will also create new job opportunities and therefore strengthen the economy of the Franklin area.”
According to company officials, the RKW Group’s expansion plans for their North American Site include the construction of a new 30,000-square-foot manufacturing and warehouse facility and investments in new, state-of-the-art equipment. RKW North America is also set to invest in comprehensive training for new employees. RKW North America employs about 100 people with plans to add 30 more associates.
