Paper Converting Machine Co. (PCMC), part of Clayton-based Barry-Wehmiller Group, has purchased two manufacturers of digital printing technology and packaging equipment.

Green Bay, Wisconsin-based PCMC acquired RDP Marathon Inc., based outside Montreal in Quebec, Canada, and IPT Digital, based in Sarasota, Florida.

PCMC did not disclose financial terms of the deals, but a spokeswoman said the seller was a Canadian ownership group. The deal will bring PCMC 10 employees from RDP and two from IPT; PCMC has 700 employees in North America, according to a spokeswoman.
