Owner Kristina Stabernack wants to sell STI Group

Dr. Kristina Stabernack (59), the fourth generation owner of the STI Group, has decided to sell the company. This was announced by the company on Wednesday morning. The goal is to find a strong partner that builds on recent successes and promotes future growth, says STI. With locations in Lauterbach, Grebenhain and Alsfeld and more than 1000 employees, the company is the largest employer in Vogelsberg.

The STI Group stands for packaging and displays. The company employs more than 2,000 people at eight production sites in Germany, Hungary, the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom.

The company explains that the reorientation initiated by the current management team is already taking effect CEO Jakob Rinninger and Andrea Wildies have been able to increase their turnover by around 7 percent over the past two years. There are also positive effects from efficiency improvements. In combination with growth and efficiency, the profitability of the Group has developed disproportionately well. The aim of the managing directors is to continue the successful realignment initiatives under a new owner .
