Just in time for the 100th anniversary of the family-owned printing company, Oscar Mahl GmbH & Co. KG is expanding its machine park with a latest-generation HP Indigo 6900 to respond to changing customer requirements. The family-owned company from Schwäbisch Hall, now in its fourth generation, focuses on the printing of self-adhesive labels as well as business and advertising material. A further focus is on specialization and finishing.

“The main pillar of our company is the production of roll adhesive labels. Our customers have always relied on our quality. However, this alone is no longer sufficient today. The increasing variety of types and shorter product life cycles are driving run lengths down. The cycle time with which we produce today is much faster than a few years ago. The first one to hit the shelves is practically the winner. We can only master these challenges with digital printing,” explains Erwin Oscar Mahl, Managing Director of Druckerei Oscar Mahl GmbH & Co. KG.
