New Sustainability Report

Bischof + Klein has published its new sustainability report. “With our product development, through the provision of information and with association work, we are moving towards a genuine circular economy and active product responsibility”,

states the executive board in its foreword. This is why the development and production of recyclable flexible plastic packaging containing recyclate were at the very top of the agenda in 2019.

Another future topic for Bischof + Klein is digitalisation. Supply chain management and the standardisation of processes are important buzzwords in this regard. The company is bundling the creative energy and know-how of its engineers, data analysts and business excellence in the new innovation centre. Together with customers and suppliers, it is initiating sustainable future projects.

In 2019, the family-owned company invested 42 million euros in modernising its machinery and infrastructure, 30 million of which were invested in the two German plants. Declared objective: “We want to become the most highly regarded and innovative company for product protection worldwide.”
