New-Indy Containerboard Locates Plant in Catawba, South Carolina
January 2, 2020New-Indy Containerboard, a manufacturer and supplier of recycled containerboard for the corrugated box industry, plans to invest $240 million to establish operations at a recently-acquired pulp and paper mill facility in Catawba, South Carolina.
Founded in 2012, New-Indy Containerboard uses 100% recycled fiber in its current manufacturing process. This acquisition will provide the ability to balance company product lines equally between virgin kraft and recycled containerboard.
