Marbach sells 500th zone levelling system

The die-maker Marbach from Heilbronn has sold its 500th digital zone levelling. This special protection plate called DZL|plate compensates for unevenness in the platen. It only has to be inserted into the die-cutting machine once and will last for many months. This contrasts to the conventional type of zone levelling, which must be carried out for each individual job. Bernhard Reisser, Sales Manager at Marbach: “With the DZL|plate the job-specific area make-ready is largely a thing of the past. Our protection plate is inserted into the die-cutting machine once and then over several months continuously compensates for system-related tolerances in the platen. In contrast to the conventional method of area make-ready, which has to be carried out again and again for each individual order. A significant time saving for our customers.” Marbach’s customers have recognized this advantage and increasingly rely on equipping their die-cutting machines with digital zone levelling.
