The Heilbronn-based die-manufacturer Marbach is on course for further expansion. In addition to its activities in Mexico, China and the USA, Marbach is expanding its capacities in Poland. After two Polish plants were established in Tarnowskie Góry and Kielce with a total of 175 employees, a new plant in Poznań with 50 employees has been added. Managing Director of Marbach Poland, Pavol Kunstar: “Together the two Marbach locations in Poland have become a strong pillar of the globally active Marbach Group. The demand for Marbach tools in Poland has steadily increased in recent years. To satisfy demand sustainably the only way was to expand the existing capacities. When the opportunity arose to take over our competitor, Wykrojniki Polskie Sp.Z o.o., we did not hesitate. Especially since the majority of our customers come from the Poznań region. This investment will allow us to increase our production capacity by almost 20%. It will enable us to meet growing demand and to become more flexible. The new location in the west of Poland will enable us to better support our customers on site.” The contract for the transfer was signed on September 2nd. Marbach will take on all employees of Wykrojniki Polskie Sp.Z o.o.. The new location has an area of 1,350 m², of which 950 m² is production space. From this point on the company in Poznań will be managed as a Marbach location. By the end of 2019, Marbach guidelines will be introduced at the new location and production capacity will be expanded. This includes investment in new machines, new software, new structures and employee training. As of 01.01.2020 the entire integration of the new location into the Marbach Group will be completed.
