The Heilbronn-based die manufacturer Marbach is already involved in its planning for the most important international trade fair for the printing industry: drupa 2020. And now there is only 1 year left until drupa opens its doors again. The last drupa was very special for Marbach: with the number of visitors reaching record levels. No previous drupa had more visitors at the Marbach stand than in 2016. Marketing Manager Tina Dost: “We want to continue the great success of drupa 2016 in 2020. That’s why we are already in the middle of planning for the upcoming trade show. We are particularly focused on innovations. In 2016, we had many new products on our stand, which have since then developed into significant sales figures for us. Of course we want to top that. That’s why our development department is eager to develop new products thus improving even more our customers’ performance.” Highlights of the last drupa have now, in the meantime, established themselves in the market: digital zone levelling DZL|plate has been sold almost 400 times since its introduction at drupa. The marbablanker and lightblanker blanking technologies have also become standards. And the pure edge technology for attractive visible edges on corrugated board packaging has sold more than 100 times since then. Dost continues: “We are very satisfied with the sales success of the last drupa. For drupa 2020 we hope to be successful in selecting our product ideas. But we know our innovation management and our development department well, and we are confident that at next year’s drupa we will once again be able to present exciting products with high performance potential for our customers.” Marbach’s participation in drupa in Düsseldorf is an essential part of planning marketing strategy. The international character of the trade fair ensures that all Marbach customers around the world will have the opportunity to get information about the latest developments of the Heilbronn-based die manufacturer in Düsseldorf.
