La Plana Group buys Envases Soler

Envases Soler is the sixth acquisition of La Plana.

It is reinforced with the acquisition of the Alicante firm that has diversified from footwear to food and pharmaceutical packaging.

The Castellón-based packaging company La Plana, created in 1973 by the Piquer Gumbau family, has formalized the purchase of 100% of the shares of the company Envases Soler, located in the Alicante town of Crevillente and specialized in the manufacture, design and development of custom cardboard containers and packaging for multiple markets.

In the operation, Grupo La Plana has had the permanent advice of the legal team of the Valencia office of the firm Cuatrecasas.

Founded in 1959 and of family origin, Envases Soler began its career manufacturing shoe boxes for different shoe factories in Elche, Elda, Alicante and other nearby areas of influence and for other important companies in the toy and textile sector.
