Many international events across the globe have been canceled or postponed to 2021 because of the spread of the novel coronavirus. KOROZO, implementing all necessary measures in the fight against COVID-19 and ensuring business continuity at the same time, hosted Korozo Virtual Week, from 7 to 13 May, introducing innovative products and informing all shareholders about recent developments. Korozo Virtual Week was held on the same date as the initially projected date for Interpack, ensuring regular information flow in a transparent way. Tugce Cevik, Health, Safety and Environment Director, talked about all the precautionary measures implemented during COVID-19 pandemic in one of the five videos shared during Korozo Virtual Week. Also, KOROZO shared a special video called “Thanks to You”, thanking all the employees for their devotion.

Semih Salhon, Korozo Group Vice President-Food Flexibles, introduced Koroform, KoroGPeel, Koroskin and New Peel, bringing a breath of fresh air to food packaging solutions. These products are distinguished by their impressive technology and innovative solutions and stand out with their user-friendly designs.

Mr. Salhon said that during the pandemic Korozo launched all products on digital channels. “Postponement of fairs does not slow us down. While fairs are postponed, we use our ability to create innovative solutions for Korozo customers, this time for corporate communication and in product launch processes. We met with our business partners on digital platforms during Korozo Virtual Week and introduced our new generation products and our vision for the future” he added.

Jorge Gonzalez Alvarez, Regional Sales Manager – Mediterrenean & IBERICA Non- Food Flexibles, provided guidance to discover the future of packaging industry in the aftermath of COVID-19 pandemic, emphasizing that the impact of the pandemic on industries varies depending on individual characteristics of every industry. Korozo highlights the important role of packaging in food safety and hygiene.
