HP establishes Digital Pack: The first corrugated digital print consortium for the benefit of brands

Print innovation for brand value, speed, and agility. That’s the promise of Digital Pack, the world’s first association of corrugated converters dedicated to brands’ success through digitally printed graphics packaging and displays.

HP announced the launch of Digital Pack to an audience of brand executives and packaging converters at the 2019 Digital Print for Packaging conference this week in Orlando.

The goal of Digital Pack is to make digital print easier and better for brands. For many tier one brands today, the idea of executing a national or multi-national corrugated digital print project is frightening. Frightening enough to avoid it. Why?

Brands require assurance of supply across a broad region. They hope for consistent digital print quality from one converter to another. They want to know how to identify, research, and connect with corrugated converters who have invested in a leading inkjet technology platform, who truly understand digital print manufacturing, and who are committed to making the process easier for brands. Before the creation of Digital Pack, these expectations of brands seemed futuristic.

Digital Pack has established a set of digital print best practices among its member companies to build brands’confidence in having assurance of supply. These member companies – corrugated converters who own and operate HP PageWide Presses – provide brands with the knowledge, support, and scale of a multi-national network. They are prepared to meet brands’ high standards for corrugated graphics color, process management, digital print quality, food safety, and sustainability.

Enabling brands’ connections to a converter of their choice is helpful to the “easier and better” objective. To create this connection, brands are invited to visit digitalpack.com. Here, brands can begin their research journey to learn more about HP’s technology and benefits, to be inspired by others’ proven successes with digital print, and to get started by finding an HP-partnered converter.
