Geru-Plast wants to expand production
July 3, 2019The film manufacturer Geru-Plast (Hersbruck) plans to expand its production site in Hersbruck. By the middle of next year, a new building of 5,000 m² will be built, as managing director Gerd Ruderisch explained. The start of construction is planned for autumn.
On the one hand, the new building is necessary in order to set up a separate area for obtaining food-grade BRC certification. On the other hand, the company reaches its limits. The new hall creates space for further capacity. For the expansion Geru-Plast wants to take a total of 11 million EUR in the hand.
