One of the world’s largest manufacturers and distributors of paper products, packaging, chemicals and building supplies has invested approximately $25 million into downtown Cincinnati to bring a new digital print service to the market.

An Atlanta-based manufacturer is adding to its West Chester plant, kicking in an $18 million capital investment and adding 29 jobs under a tax credit agreement with the state of Ohio approved on Monday.

Georgia-Pacific Corrugated, a manufacturer and marketer of paper products, paper-based packaging and chemical products, is adding a digital web printing press for packaging, according to the company.

The new positions will include press operators and some salaried graphic artists, salespeople, customer service personnel and engineers. Some of the salaried positions will be based out of a small Cincinnati office.
