Flexo Wash to unveil latest in laser anilox cleaning technology

Converters and printers attending Labelexpo Americas 2018 will be able to view Flexo Wash’s latest innovation, the FW 2000 Laser Anilox Cleaner, along with all their cleaning technology. This includes updates to their PK trolley load parts washer, FW 993 XL Anilox Cleaner and Narrow Web Plate Washing systems.

The release of the FW 2000 is Flexo Wash’s second cleaning technology on offer to the printing industry, complementing the existing agile liquid cleaner. Like the liquid cleaner, the laser cleaner gives a perfect cleaning result. Aniloxes are at the heart of the Flexo process — and when properly cleaned, result in higher output on the press with less downtime, material and labor costs.
The FW 2000 Laser will clean an anilox roll or sleeve with a maximum cleaning length of 67” (1,700 mm), and can also be configured to clean multiple Narrow Web Anilox Rolls or Sleeves in a single cycle.

Flexo Wash first developed the Anilox Cleaner over 25 years ago, and since then, more than 3,000 converters and printers have benefited from this technology to improve their printing process.
