First Macchi 5 layer POD line in Georgia

Technology, innovation, quality and service punctuality allowed Macchi SpA, a leader in the production of blown film extrusion lines, to win an important contract in Georgia.

The plant, a 1800 mm POD 5-layer line, supplied to a primary plastics transformer operating in the beverage sector, has recently been tested and will allow the production of up to 500 kg / h of collation shrink / stretch hood film.

Thanks to the water cooling of the extruders, the plant will guarantee reduced energy consumption, thus allowing the manufacturer a real optimization of the entire life cycle management costs.
