Roshan Packages Limited from Pakistan inaugurated its new production halls with a big celebration. As a trustworthy partner in growth, W&H was also present at the opening ceremony. Since 2016, Roshan has been serving the flexible packaging market with a blown film line VAREX II and a gravure printing press HELIOSTAR S.

The flexible packaging from Roshan Packages covers almost everything – from snacks and pharmaceuticals to hygiene products. With the new factory complex in Lahore, which covers 32,375 sqm, production capacity is increased even further. “We need very good production conditions in order to meet the demands of our customers and serve the various markets flexibly. In addition to an optimal production environment in our new halls, we have always relied on premium products. These must deliver top quality at maximum output at the same time”, says Tayyab Aijaz, CEO of Roshan Packages Limited. The group founder and father of the current CEO Aijaz Hassan Qureshi has a special relationship with the German machinery business: “I myself did my PHD from Heidelberg. My goal with Roshan has always been to become the market leader in flexible packaging. That’s why we only work with products from market leaders.”

The VAREX II film extrusion line and the HELIOSTAR S printing press from W&H moved to the new Roshan factory in May. Numerous well-known personalities from the country, including the German Ambassador of Pakistan Martin Kobler as well as presidents of banks and business partners, attended the ceremonial opening of the expanded production site. “The opening ceremony was magnificent and will be remembered by all of us for a long time. We at W&H are very pleased to have been able to celebrate this special occasion together with our valued business partner and to be part of Roshan’s success story,” says W&H Sales Manager Thomas Lengenberg.
