As of August 1, 2021, the Supervisory Board of tesa SE appointed Dr. Andreas Mack as new member of the Executive Board for the division Consumer. Thus, this traditionally important business area will be realigned. Dr. Andreas Mack is responsible for Product Development and Marketing. Furthermore, he takes on direct responsibility for Sales and Regional Marketing in the European regions.

In the division Consumer, which is focused on Europe and Latin America, tesa markets innovative product solutions that are intended for everyday use in offices and households as well as in the Craftsmen and Trade sectors. The umbrella brand tesa offers end consumers a wide range of more than 300 products that are available in DIY stores and hypermarkets, as well as in stationery stores and, of course, online. In the business area Craftsmen, the focus is on custom-made product assortments for professional craftsmen as well as on the development and implementation of target-group-oriented marketing concepts.

The great potential of the tesa brand among end consumers is to be exploited even better in the future. This includes, in particular, the use of all digital channels and options that are available to further expand the business. Most recently, Andreas Mack was President of Global Marketing at Freudenberg Home and Cleaning Solutions (FHCS). In addition to Global Portfolio Management, he was responsible for future-oriented Category Management to expand the innovation leadership of the brands. Moreover, Mack managed the internal and external digital transformation, including eCommerce. Prior to this position, he worked three years for the Swedish hygiene products manufacturer Essity (formerly known as SCA) as Global Brand Director, and for 17 years in various consumer functions at Procter & Gamble.

“We are pleased to welcome Andreas Mack at tesa, who is a very experienced top manager for Fast Moving Consumer Goods. He will strengthen the tesa Consumer Business and develop it in a future-oriented way together with the entire Executive Board,” says Dr. Norman Goldberg, CEO at tesa SE.

Oliver Höfs, board member for the division Trade at tesa SE, will leave the company by mutual agreement on September 30, 2021, to take on new tasks outside of tesa. The Executive Board and the Supervisory Board would like to thank him for his excellent performance over the course of many years of cooperation.
