DotScope, the quality assurance tool, offers new functions for comparision reports

The DotScope mini is a product of SOPRIN GmbH from Germany for quality assurance of printing rolls, sleeves and plates. Based on the principle of focus variation, this mobile 3D microscope precisely determines scoop volumes, relief depths, screen ruling and other parameters. In addition to the DotScope mini, the DotScope eco and the DotScope mini 2D are also available in a reduced version.
After the DotScope had been very successfully introduced for gravure and anilox roll testing in recent years, there are now extensions there are now extensions for generating comparison reports, which greatly simplifies the work of roll cleaners.
For this purpose, the DotScope software has been extended by a new assistant. This automates the generation of comparison reports. You can now easily load and then process the two measurements to be compared before and after cleaning the roller. In addition, the gain in dip volume due to the cleaning process is calculated and output in the measurement report.
