On Monday, Gov. Susana Martinez announced Corrugated Synergies International, a manufacturer in the corrugated packaging industry, chose New Mexico over Nevada and Texas to expand its operations. The Washington-based company will expand to Santa Teresa and invest more than $31 million in infrastructure, according to a news release.

“We are proud to be making a long-term investment in New Mexico by placing our newest manufacturing facility in Santa Teresa,” John Perullo, CEO of Corrugated Synergies, said in a statement. “New Mexico’s business-friendly climate made the decision to come to New Mexico an easy one. The governor’s visit to our corporate headquarters in the Pacific Northwest underscored the state’s commitment to welcome us.”
