COEXPAN DEUTSCHLAND IS AWARDED A GOLD RATING IN THE ECOVADIS ASSESSMENT

COEXPAN DEUTSCHLAND, the Group’s plant located in the city of Bad Kreuznach (Germany) has been awarded the maximum EcoVadis rating, improving on its score of last year. This rating acknowledges the good Corporate Social Responsibility practices of the company in all of its operations. COEXPAN DEUTSCHLAND has gained the prestigious Gold Rating of the EcoVadis independent certifying programme, which places it above average in the industry and confirms its commitment to all of its stakeholders to carry out its business activities sustainably and based on continuous improvement. This award stands as recognition of the company’s performance and good practices in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), in the areas of Environment, Labour Practices, Human Rights, and Responsible Supplier and Procurement Management in all of its operations. The assessment carried out by EcoVadis involves an exhaustive analysis of the company’s CSR areas taking into account international standards for sustainable development. From this year onwards EcoVadis calls for two essential pre-requisites for the rating award: continued excellence over the past five years in the area of business ethics and over the past three years in the fields of Environment, Labour Practices, Human Rights and Sustainable Procurement. COEXPAN DEUTSCHLAND has scored highly favourably in both areas. In addition, through our internal programme known as ONE SAFETY, Coexpan promotes a healthy and safe working environment, two principles on which great importance is placed in the EcoVadis assessment. It is also noteworthy that only recently EcoVadis awarded its rating to the Group’s Emsur SPO (France) and Emsur Poland plants.
